Governance principles

CVB operates under defined leadership and oversight structures. Roles and responsibilities are formally set out and reviewed on a regular basis.

Responsible financial management

CVB applies prudent financial controls, budgeting and reporting practices to ensure resources are used for their intended purpose.

Programme monitoring

Programmes are monitored against clear objectives and outcomes. Findings inform improvements and stakeholder reporting.

Conflict-of-interest management

Actual, perceived and potential conflicts of interest are disclosed and managed in line with CVB's governance policies.

Stakeholder reporting

CVB reports back to communities, partners and funders on the use of resources and the outcomes achieved.

Safeguarding

CVB is committed to safeguarding participants, particularly children, young people and vulnerable adults, across all its programmes.

Privacy and data protection

Personal information is handled in line with applicable Botswana data-protection requirements and CVB's internal policies.
